Why I Finally Started a Blog

Why I Finally Started a Blog

For years, I’d come up with ideas, buy domains, make plans, and then convince myself I had nothing worth saying. Life was busy. The timing wasn’t right. Someone else had already written about whatever I wanted to write about.

So I never started.

But lately, I’ve realized something.

My life may not be glamorous, perfectly organized, or Instagram worthy, but it’s real.

I’m an author, artist, entrepreneur, mother of six, cat servant, and professional chaos coordinator. My days are filled with creativity, coffee, books, home projects, business ideas, and whatever fresh chaos decides to show up.

Through all of it, I’ve collected stories.

Stories about writing, creating, parenting, chronic illness, small business ownership, grief, growth, mistakes, and learning to laugh when life doesn’t go according to plan.

I realized I don’t need a perfect niche.

I don’t need a perfectly curated life.

I don’t need all the answers.

I just need a place to tell those stories.

That’s what A Feral Kind of Life is.

A place for creativity, honesty, humor, and the beautiful mess of everyday life.

So here’s to starting before I’m ready, learning as I go, and documenting this wonderfully chaotic life one story at a time.

Welcome to A Feral Kind of Life.

I’m glad you’re here.
